Season 2001 Squad

Calum McFadzean, Jamie Duncan, Ross Sunderland, Barry Wilson, Ian McDonald, Gregor Small, Paul, Calum Duncan, Christopher Stanger
Chris, Cessell Hendry, Mathew Keir, Ian Keane, Ross Duncan, Gordon Robertson

  Calum "McFly" McFadzean
Centre Midfield - Brodick Bar

Large drink binges has added extra weight which McFly has used wisely. Strong on the ball and good user of the ball.

  James "Jumbo" Duncan
Cultured Centre Half - doesn't drink, devotes life to the game.

For the classic skilled centre-half look up Baresi. For the classic rugged centre-half look up Butcher. Combine these two features and you have Jumbo Duncan. This guy has the lot and more. The ladies love him (from young schoolies to mature ladies) for his rugged looks and perfect smile and the guys for his wit and intellect. Jumbo Duncan PLAYER OF THE YEAR 2001, we salute you.
(hope this is enough jamie and sorry we missed you out first time).

  Ross "Rosco" Sutherland

Sub - Brodick Bar / Kingsley / Ormidale / Auchrannie

Keen to be involved (note pub list) but may be better served by following his brother into management - bank management - not football as Scott "Scooter" Sumoland was a disaster at football management (except social nights and prizegivings).

  Barry "Bazza" Wilson

Midfield - Nicky's House

Serious injury curtailed season (must have been to his eyes as never turned up to watch any games after). Maybe found playing for Shiskine next year.

  Ian "Loki/Lurch" McDonald
Leftback - Pink Palace

Like his father, an egg chaser who tried football, can be seen practising most nights - unfortunately only at egg chasing.

  Gregor "Smegor" Small

Goalkeeper - Kingsley

Like his dad, can play either in goal or at centre half - equally badly!!
Unlike his dad, he chooses to have short hair.

Paul "Harry Potter / Jk fae Govan"

Left midfield - Brodick Bar

The only player not to live in Brodick (1 night a week). A magic wee player sometimes could do with a rocket up his arse to get him moving.

  Calum "Duncae / Becks" Duncan

Should be right back - Kingsley / Bar Cruize

The pretty boy of the team - a roving right back. Can be found roving all over the pitch except right back - best suited in Armani.

  Christopher "Scush" Stanger

Centre Half - Home with family

Old man of the team (30 in 2001) and it shows. Could show his daughter a thing or two about spilling your drink in younger days. Quiet and tactically brilliant on the pitch.

  Chris

Midfield - Auchrannie

Not much know about this lad except he wasn't a mincer and worked at Auchrannie (strange). Highly skillful and too good for Arran football so his own team crocked him.

  Russell "Cessell" Hendry

Centre Midfield - Kinloch

Manager (2001). Moaning, small and huffy. Best mates with Van Peck.

Allan Glen Mathew "Peck" Keir

Right Midfield - Brodick Bar

Moaning, small and huffy. Best mates with Cessell

  Ian "Keeno" Keane

Striker - Mini cafe

Direct approach but a bit small. Good with the head.

  Ross "Chip" Duncan

Sub - Brodick Golf Club

Would be great white hope for Scotland if he played football like golf - he doesn't. Always turns up and keeps supporter(s) company.

  Gordon "Girdie" Robertson

Striker - Pink Palace

Fast direct and can't shoot - life has a habit of copying itself. Great person if ever experiment needed to see change in personallity by adding alcohol.

Some of the current Brodick squad have played together for years!
Back - Calum Duncan, Russell Hendry, Ross Sutherland, Gregor Small
Front - Chris Wallis, Mathew Keir (not changed much), Giddy Brown, Martin Kingstree
