In 1935 Brodick wore dog hair shorts purchased
from Lumleys.
Due to club finances being short the committee decided to take
subscriptions. The membership fee for the following year 1936/37
was set at 2/6 per annum.
The Graeme Murray cup is actually a replica of the old Scottish
league cup, however the footballer on top has since been lost.
Scott Sutherland player manager for seasons 1995 and 1996 played
in every position for Brodick in season 1996 including goals and
subsequently won save of the season.
During the same season Scooter actually had to referee a game against
Southend somehow Brodick still lost 8-1.
The committee decided in 1936 that the club would be willing to
pay for players to return home from the mainland to play games at
the weekend.
In season 2001 the 3 Duncan brothers Calum, Jamie and Ross all
played together in Brodick's defence. Calum right back, Jamie centre
half and Ross left back.
William McNicol, his 3 sons Archie, Henry and Ian and Ian's son
Alan all played in goal for Brodick.
In season 1932 owing to a heavy defeat by a Kilmory school team
the committee of Brodick set up a junior team for players aged between
6 to 15 years.
In season 2001 no fewer than 8 players who played for Lamlash either
lived in Brodick or had previously played for Brodick.
The cup final of 1935 saw Brodick defeat arch rivals Lamlash 3
- 2 to lift the Graeme Murray cup.

Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II, visited Arran for the second
time in 1997 and opened the new sports centre at which Brodick play
their home games.
